| "I bought the first USIP that Bass Northwest had. I've used it on about a dozen gigs so far and I must say I'm very impressed. Gone are some grounding problems I've had at my regular church gig. The soundmen I work with have noted that I have a better and clearer signal. I recently shared bass duties with another bassist on an outdoor gig. Having the USIP allowed us to use the same amp with our own EQ and use only one DI. At another gig, I accidentally pulled my entire rig over on its face. The USIP survived without a scratch. The biggest compliment I can pay is this: I didn't just purchase the USIP, I got two new basses along with it. I'm hearing more out of my basses than I ever have with previous preamps. So much so that I'm having to go back and experiment with my basses to learn what else I can do with them. So will having the USIP make me a better player? Yes, it just might do that.
